You will be prompted and may opt in or out of joining our Big Kahuna Club, to receive news and updates to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, and through our main website at beachboardwalk.com/ , the Alumni Club. Through our main website you may also try submitting memories on our Boardwalk Memories site which will require you to register for an account, and we will ask you for some personal information in order to create that account, such as your name, e-mail address and a password. This information is retained for purposes of sending you information about the opportunities, discounts, and values you might like to know about in order to enjoy the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Our online ticket sales service, through our aforementioned main website, requires information that would allow use of a credit or debit card account online, and we collect the necessary information to process the purchase, such as: name, billing address, and credit or debit card number. We do not retain information that we collect with respect to ticket sales once the transaction is complete.

The types of personal information we obtain about you depends on how you interact with our Site and use our Services. Like many websites, we use Cookies on our Site. For specific information about the Cookies that we use related to powering our store with Shopify, see shopify.com/legal/cookies. We use Cookies to power and improve our Site and our Services (including to remember your actions and preferences), to run analytics, and better understand user interaction with the Services (in our legitimate interests to administer, improve, and optimize the Services). We may also permit third parties and services providers to use Cookies on our Site to better tailor the services, products and advertising on our Site and other websites.

CHILDREN'S DATA
At Seaside, we prioritize a Family Fun Experience and the creation of memories therein; however, this website and its Services are strictly for those of the Age of Majority (refer to your state guidelines for this, but for most of the states this is defined as 18 years of age). If you are a registered user, you are confirming that you meet this requirement and that any minor dependents gaining access to the Services are done so under your consent and authority, and that we are not directly engaging with data collection for those under the Age of Majority.
The Services are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, you may contact us using the contact details set out below to request that it be deleted.
As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" (as those terms are defined in applicable law) personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
SECURITY AND RETENTION OF YOUR INFORMATION

DELETION REQUEST RIGHTS
You have the right to request that Seaside delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.
We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service provider(s) to:
- Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you.

Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.
You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The verifiable consumer request must:
- Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
- Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.
Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us.
We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
RESPONSE TIMING AND FORMAT
We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request’s receipt. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. We do not sell personal information, period.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not:

Participation in a financial incentive program requires your prior opt in consent, which you may revoke at any time. We currently do not provide any financial incentive programs.
