Shipping policy

Most items ordered and shipped through our current Standard Priority shipping with USPS will arrive in 5-8 business days (excluding weekends and holidays), that is after all orders are allowed a processing time within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays), after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. So please allow 3-5 business days from time of order until you receive your order, for orders placed and received in the contiguous United States (does not include Alaska and Hawaii, nor international orders outside of that scope).

At this time we utilize USPS to ship all our orders, this is to reach as many of our guests as possible, and as such delays outside our control may also extend delivery times beyond the aforementioned time frame and as such Seaside is not liable for such delays, nor by supplying and not delivery on said stated operational delivery window. Factors such as high volume order, inclement weather, or conditions outside our control, including conditions within USPS or the US government, can contribute to delays outside of this time frame. Seaside makes no guarantees regarding exact or minimum shipping times. We do offer Priority Shipping through USPS Priority Mail (1-3 Business Days)* **, however, these prices are set by Shopify with real time estimates based of current valuations of services.

**For those in AK or HI please be aware that all posted shipping estimates will need an additional 2-4 days

IN-STORE PICKUP

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at the Tickets and Season Pass Office in the Main Entrance Plaza at 400 Beach St. Santa Cruz, CA 95060. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.

Our in-store pickup hours are 9am to 5pm every day, even through our Park “Off-Season”. You can view these Operating and Non-Operating Days at beachboardwalk.com/hours/. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

At this time, with our current operational serviceable network we only ship to the following eight (8) countries:

  • Canada
  • China
  • France**
  • Germany**
  • India
  • Mexico
  • Netherlands**
  • United Kingdom

but with higher demand we will one day expand our serviceable area. For future reference, if expanding with USPS as our primary deliverer, their operational serviceable network does not currently ship to:

  • Afghanistan
  • Myanmar
  • Yemen
  • Belarus
  • Niue*
  • Bhutan
  • Russia
  • Brunei
  • Sudan
  • Laos
  • Syria

Shipping Rates for International Orders are automatically riced out through the services provided by Shopify and are up-to-date and current at time of adding the products to your cart. At this time, we only offer Priority Mail International services which can take between 8-20 days depending on various circumstances outside our control, including, but not limited to: shipping, weather, service changes, customs, national postal services, etc. In relation to the prices quoted for shipping internationally, please be aware that you are responsible for taxes or duties levied against your order, and these are subject to collection based off your individual country’s postal service policies. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items that happen while in transit to your country of receipt.

Please also be aware that we are situated in PST, which in GMT(-8) (+/-1 for Observed Daylight Savings Time) and that we will be able to help you in English only in phone calls. Please allow 1-2 days for a response from reaching out either by phone or email.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Seaside is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at shop.orders@beachboardwalk.com with your name, order number, and zip code, and we will look into it for you.

SHIPPING TO P.O. BOXES

The mission of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk has always been to make memories with our growing support of guests and as such we have partnered with the United States Postal Service to provide shipping services to the most amount of guests, whether or not they have a physical address, so we will gladly ship to P.O. Boxes.

REFUNDS, RETURNS, AND EXCHANGES

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at shop.returns@beachboardwalk.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
